ATHLETE REGISTRATION:

Do not send any registration forms or fees to the Victors Gym.  All registrations must be sent directly to the the New York State Chair by completing the On-line Registration form available on the New York State Gymnastics website.  For further information or questions contact the State Chair, Paul Spadaro at CityGames@aol.com  The registration deadline is May 17. 

The Victors Gymnastics Team of Greece competed in the New York State Woman’s Coaches Classic hosted by Gym Connection 2, March 7 in East Syracuse, NY.  Team Victors placed first overall in the combines Level 8/9 team competition.

Level 7

In the 13 – 14 year old age division Jessica Reed of Greece placed third on uneven bars and balance beam. 

Level 8

In the level 8 competition Amanda Burkey of Fairport placed first on uneven bars and all-around, second on vault, and third on floor exercise.  Mariah Burkhard of Churchville placed third on balance beam.  

Level 9

In the level 9 competition Stasi Ozminkowski of Greece placed first on vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and all-around, and second on floor exercise.  Rachael Marinaccio of Webster placed first on floor exercise, second on uneven bars, and third in the all-around.

 The Victors Gymnastics Team of Greece competed in the I Love NY Cup hosted by Southern Tier Gymnastics Academy, January 29 – 31 in Binghamton, NY.  Team Victors placed first overall in Level 4 and Level 5, second overall in Level 8, and third overall in the Level 7 team competitions.

Level 4

In the 6 – 7 year old age division Julia DiNitto of Spencerport placed third on vault.  In the 8 year old age division Kelsey Nugent of Greece placed first on uneven bars, second on balance beam and all-around, and third on vault.   In the 9 year old age division Camryn Brush of Irondequoit placed first on balance beam and all-around, second on vault and floor exercise, and third on uneven bars.   Bayli Bostley of Brockport placed first on vault and uneven bars.   Alaina Kosko of Greece place third on balance beam.  In the 10 – 11 and older age division Wijitra Burapan of Greece placed first in the all-around, uneven bars, and floor exercise.  Nicole Desimone of Greece placed second on uneven bars and floor exercise, and third in the all-around. Sky Symonds of Irondequoit placed third on vault and balance beam.  Alexandria Wright of Irondequoit placed third on uneven bars.  In the 12 and older age division Crystal Hanley of Greece placed first on vault, second on floor exercise and all-around, and third on uneven bars.

Level 5

In the 7 – 8 year old age division Bridget Huber of Greece placed first on balance beam and floor exercise, and second on uneven bars and all-around. In the 9 year old age division Renee Vito of Greece placed first on uneven bars, balance beam and all-around, and second on vault and floor exercise.  In the 10 year old age division Shannon Coffaro of Irondequoit placed first on uneven bars, and second on vault and all-around.   In the 11 year old age division Megan Nugent of Greece placed first on vault, uneven bars, floor exercise, and all-around.  Angel Ortiz of Gates placed first on balance beam, second on uneven bars and all-around, and third on vault.  Ariana DiNato of Greece placed second on vault, balance beam and floor exercise, and third in the all-around.  Maggie Setzer of Greece placed third on floor exercise.  In the 12 and older age division Dana Cowley of Greece placed first on balance beam, second in the all-around, and third on floor exercise.   

Level 6

In the 12 and older age division Taylor Hoehn of Irondequoit placed second on uneven bars and balance beam.

Level 7

In the 13 – 14 year old age division Carly Willmes of Webster placed first on vault.  Jessica Reed of Greece placed third on balance beam.  In the 15 and older age division Myra Brickler of Hilton placed first on balance beam, second on floor exercise, and third in the all-around. 

Level 8

In the 15 and older age division Amanda Burkey of Fairport placed first on vault.  Valerie Newland of Geneva placed second on floor exercise.  

Level 9

In the senior age division Stasi Ozminkowski of Greece placed first on vault, balance beam and all-around, and third on uneven bars. 

The Victors Gymnastics has been selected by USA Gymnastics as the host site for the 2011 USAG Level 8 New York State Gymnastics Championships.  The Level 8 State Championships will be held  at the end of March 2011 at Victors Gym.  Further details will be announced and posted to our website as they become available.

In previous years Victors Gymnastics has hosted the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 New York State Judges Cup, the 2007 USAG Level 8 New York State Championships, the 2009 Level 6 New York State Championships.   Victors Gym will be hosting the Level 5 State Championships in May 2010.
