In February 1999 The Victors’ opened the doors to their newly renovated 15,000 square foot training facility at Northgate Plaza in Greece. The Victors is the only private gymnastics facility located in northwest Monroe County and the first and only cheerleading training center in Rochester. “We knew that there was a real need for a private gymnastics and cheerleading training facility to serve Greece and the surrounding areas. The response has been beyond our expectations with students coming from as far as Canandaigua to Batavia.”  In 2007 Victors moved to their current location at 675 Ling Road in Greece.  The new Victors Gym is a 17,280 square foot state-of-the-art training facility with in-ground foam pits and all the “bells and whistles”!

The Victors Gym is a USA Gymnastics Member Club. We provide a unique and personalized approach to gymnastics and cheerleading instruction for girls and boys ages 2 and up. Our motto is “Lifting Kids Up to Excellence!”. In just a few short years The Victors Gym has established a tradition of excellence which has come about through the dedication and hard work of our staff that is here to serve you. We have excelled, and will continue to excel, because of one thing – good people working together as a team to do what’s right for the students we serve!

The Victors is owned and operated by Club Director, Michael Mordenga a lifelong Greece resident, former Greece Arcadia gymnast, and University of Michigan gymnast and cheerleader. Michael is a professional member of USA Gymnastics. He is Safety Certified through the USAG and has several other USAG program certifications. Michael is also a Nationally Certified Cheerleading Judge and “A” Rated Safety Judge.

Location & Directions

When can I enroll for a class?

Student enrollment is monthly; based on a 4-week session.  Students may enroll for a class at anytime during a 4-week session provided that there is space available in that class. If space is not available, you must wait until after the pre-registration date (20th of each month) when class spots may become available open on a “first-come, first-serve” basis.

How do I determine which class is best for my child?

Classes are divided into programs such as Preschool, Gymnastics and Tumbling.  Preschool classes such as Sweet Peas are determined primarily by age.  Gymnastics and tumbling classes are determined primarily by skill level.  Descriptions of each of our programs and classes, with age and skill requirements are included in the Programs Tab of our website.

How do I know what level my child is?

Your child’s level is determined by a set of skill requirements.  New students are typically beginners.  Students that have taken gymnastics before, particularly at another school most likely will need to be evaluated by an instructor to determine their level.  Please call the gym to schedule an appointment to be evaluated. Descriptions of each of our programs and classes, with age and skill requirements have been include in this website.

How often do I need to pay the $40 registration fee?

The $40 registration fee is an annual fee. You do not need to pay this fee each time you re-enroll for a class.  If you choose to skip a session or sessions and then return within the 12 months, you will not be required to re-pay the registration fee.

Do I have to pay the full tuition if I enroll for a class after it has started?

No. If you enroll for a class after an 8-week session has started, class tuition is pro-rated so that you do not pay for the classes that you have already missed.

If I choose to skip a session, will you hold my place in class for when I return?

No. We will only hold your place in class if you choose to continue in that class from session to session and pay your tuition fees by the pre-registration date.  Students who leave a class will have to wait until after the pre-registration date (20th of each month) when session enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If I choose to skip a session, what level will I be able to return to?

If you choose to skip a session you will return to the same level that you were in previously, provided it is within one year. If it is more than a one year you may need to be re-evaluated if you where in an advanced level.

Will we have class if the weather is bad?

Unless otherwise announced you can assume that we will be holding classes. Occasionally however, for the safety of our students and staff, we must close for business due to inclement weather such as snow, sleet or ice. In this event, the gym’s phone message will be updated as necessary to keep you informed of closings or changes in class hours.  Whenever feasible, missed classes will be re-scheduled for make-up by the end of the session in which they occur.  When re-scheduling is not feasible, students will be given an Open Gym pass.  Please note that an Open Gym pass cannot be redeemed for cash refunds, they are not transferable to others outside of your family.

If my child misses a class can we do a make-up?

The Victors Gym provides unlimited make-up classes for our recreational class students.  All we ask is that you formally scheduled your make-ups with our Customer Service Staff.

What does my child need to wear to class?

Jeans or jean shorts, oversized t-shirts and jewelry are not accepted.  For girls gymnastics classes leotards and bare feet with hair pulled back neatly off the face is preferred; T-shirts and gym shorts are acceptable.  For preschool and boys gymnastics classes t-shirts and gym shorts or athletic sweat pants with bare feet is preferred.  For tumbling classes t-shirts and shorts are preferred.  We ask that cheerleaders in a tumbling class bring a separate pair of dry, clean cheer sneakers that they can change into for class.

Is the gym closed for holidays and breaks?

Yes.  Although we do not follow the school calendar directly, the gym is closed for most of the school holidays and vacation breaks.  Class tuition payments do not include any dates when the gym is closed for holidays or vacation breaks.
